Abstract is a tribute to the forms of nature and abstract art.
The inspiration comes from artists such as Jean Arp, Alexander Calder and Barbara Hepworth, whose works often consist of one or more organic forms that evoke associations with nature.
Perhaps the connection to nature is the reason why organic design elements feel so timeless – they are simply so obvious in our surroundings that they never go out of style.
Soft, organic shapes – not unlike rocks whose edges have been rounded by the waves – appear as an extra layer on top of the otherwise smooth gaps.
